About
Sohaib is a dedicated family law attorney practicing primarily in Fort Bend County, Harris County, and Waller County.
Sohaib serves his clients by listening to their goals, developing a roadmap for reaching those goals, and equipping his clients with a fundamental understanding of how those goals can be accomplished. By doing this, his clients are better enabled to make informed decisions regarding the direction of their case, including decisions affecting their parental rights and property interests in their case. Sohaib firmly believes in fostering and maintaining a trusting relationship with his clients, and he understands that each client’s case is unique and requires time and attention to detail.
Sohaib grew up in Alief-Houston and Sugar Land before attending law school at South Texas College of Law Houston where he graduated in the top third of his class. While in law school, Sohaib earned multiple academic honors including the Dean's List and the CALI award scholarship, and participated in the Advanced Family Law Clinic, Sorrels Legal Clinic, and esteemed trial advocacy program. Sohaib also has experience with the Office of Attorney General's Child Support Division in Houston, Texas, and completed a state district court clerkship as a law student.
From 2016 through 2024, Sohaib managed an independent law practice with its primary focus on family law. During this time, Sohaib acquired a wealth of experience representing clients with a variety of needs, including those with high-net worth marital estates and closely held businesses. Sohaib recently secured a multi-million dollar jury verdict and judgment in favor of his client in a claim for fraud against the community property estate.
